What It Is
Bad-Mouthed birds of Boston: Getting to Know our Unappreciated Avian Neighbors is a multimedia project designed to increase awareness of and appreciation for negatively stereotyped common birds in Boston, and encourage people to notice the small things in everyday life in the process. The finished work consists primarily of a fully original hand-bound photo and infographic book with promotional trading cards.

Timeline
The creation of this book was a massive undertaking, and involved much more than designing and typesetting spreads and cards. Between original photography, illustration, infographics, and written material, a three month deadline was an intimidating ask! As such, diligent time management was crucial to success. A front-heavy initial schedule allowed leeway for unexpected events and complications that would inevitably arise over the course of the project.
